Ozeki Goeido Authentic Tegata

Gōeidō was a powerful Japanese ōzeki known for his explosive tachiai, aggressive forward-moving style, and long service near the top of the sport. Born in Osaka, he reached ōzeki in 2014 and held the rank for 33 consecutive tournaments. His career highlight came in September 2016, when he won the top-division championship with a perfect 15-0 record. A respected modern-era favourite, Gōeidō retired in 2020 and remained in sumo as Takekuma Oyakata.

This is an authentic tegata - personally hand-printed and signed by the wrestler. The two red stamps show that Gōeidō was an Ozeki at the time at the time the hand-print was made.
