Coaster set (10 wrestlers)

A set of ten illustrated coasters featuring some of today's top rikishi, drawn in the style of traditional nishiki-e woodblock prints.

Featuring: Onosato, Kotozakura, Aonishiki, Asanoyama, Wakatakakage, Wakamotoharu, Oho, Takerufuji, Atamifuji and Ura.

Artwork by Kinoshita Daimon, the sumo nishiki-e artist whose work has been sold at the Ryogoku Kokugikan since it opened in 1985. Printed on proper coaster board, the same kind used in Japanese restaurants, so they work as well on the table as they do in a collection. Made in Japan.
