Kotonowaka (Terumasa) Authentic Tegata

Kotonowaka Terumasa (born Mitsuya Konno, 1968, Obanazawa, Yamagata) is a former sekiwake celebrated for longevity and giant-killing upsets - 8 kinboshi and 7 special prizes across 15 years in the top division. He retired in 2005 and now leads Sadogatake stable as an oyakata. He is the father of today’s ōzeki Kotozakura (formerly Kotonowaka Masakatsu).
